The booklet includes letters by the Rishon LeTzion R. Avraham Ashkenazi (along with the Torah scholars of the Sephardic community), rabbis of the Maghrebi community, rabbis of the Knesset Yechezkel yeshiva and teachers in the Doresh Tzion school in Jerusalem, addressed to the Dorshei Shelom Yerushalayim society in Paris, which funded the establishment of the Torah school and provided clothing for the students.

Megillat Saragosanos, a work in the style of the Book of Esther, commemorating Saragossa Purim. Jerusalem: Shmelke Yosef Shmer and Yitzchak Gościnny, 1872.

Saragossa Purim is celebrated on 17th and 18th of Shevat every year, in memory of a miracle that took place in 1380 (or 1420 in other versions) for a Jewish community in Italy or Spain (according to different accounts). Saragosanos is an epithet for the king. Saragossa Jews read this Megillah every year (on 17th or 18th Shevat), like the reading of the Megillah on Purim.

Machazirei Atarah LeYoshnah society, with Kollel HaIvrim, by R. Akiva Yosef Schlesinger. Jerusalem: Shmelke Yosef Shmer and his brother-in-law Yitzchak Gościnny and R. Yaakov David Slotky, [1873].

The book proposes establishing an organization for Jews to return to Eretz Israel with government approval, headed by elected officials assisted by an armed force of guards, in a settlement divided into tribes and speaking Hebrew. At the end of the book is a prayer for settlement of the Land.
