Machazirei Atarah LeYoshnah society, with Kollel HaIvrim, by R. Akiva Yosef Schlesinger. Jerusalem: Shmelke Yosef Shmer and his brother-in-law Yitzchak Gościnny and R. Yaakov David Slotky, [1873].


The book proposes establishing an organization for Jews to return to Eretz Israel with government approval, headed by elected officials assisted by an armed force of guards, in a settlement divided into tribes and speaking Hebrew. At the end of the book is a prayer for settlement of the Land.

Complete copy, with [5] leaves at the end (most copies have [4] leaves of prayers at the end; the present copy has [1] added leaf before the prayers, as recorded by the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book and Sh. Halevy).
