Rare copy (lacking and damaged), printed on blue paper. Other copies of this edition, printed on blue paper, are unknown to us (one known copy is printed on parchment).
Blue paper was introduced into Italian Hebrew printing early in the 16th century. Like parchment, it was used for preparing deluxe editions of books, which were printed in a limited number of copies for wealthy individuals (see: Brad Sabin Hill, Hebrew Printing on Blue and Other Coloured Papers, in: Otzrot Yaakov, Treasures of the Valmadonna Trust Library, London and New York, 2011, pp. 84 ff).
On title page, signature of censor "Domenico Gerosolimitano", dated 1599.

R. Mazal Tov Modena, disciple of R. Yishmael HaKohen of Modena author of Zera Emet. A leading Italian rabbi of his times (ca. 1770s-1830s). In 1806 he was invited to Napoleon's Sanhedrin, and after his teacher's passing (in 1811) he succeeded him as Rabbi of Modena. His halachic rulings and novellae remain in manuscript. His son, disciple and successor as Rabbi of Modena was R. David Zacuto, author of Zecher David and more.
On leaves of book, several glosses (slightly trimmed) in Italian script, two of them lengthy (to pp. 29b and 157a).
Censorship expurgations to sections 137 and 160. Signature of censor on last page.
[12], 171, [1] leaves. 28.5 cm. Condition varies; most leaves in good condition, some in good-fair condition. Stains, including dampstains and some small mold stains. Marginal open tear to top of title page and two other leaves, not affecting text (repaired with paper). Copy of Jerusalem Torah scholars R. Efraim son of Rabbi Yonah Navon and his son R. Binyamin Mordechai Navon. On verso of title page, ownership inscription: "This book belongs to… R. Efraim Navon and his son Binyamin Mordechai Jilibun Navon" – R. Efraim son of R. Yonah Navon, a Torah scholar of Jerusalem, son of R. Yonah Navon, author of Get Mekushar and Nechpah BaKesef. Set out as an emissary to Italy several times. He published his father's Get Mekushar along with his glosses and a warm approbation from the Chida, his father's disciple. R. Efraim's son, R. Binyamin Mordechai Navon (1788-1852), was also a Torah scholar and kabbalist of Jerusalem, and served as head of the Jerusalem Beit Din.

The first edition was printed in three variants: Hebrew only, Spanish only, and Hebrew with Spanish. The present volume contains the combined edition – Hebrew with Spanish.
R. David Nieto (1654-1728), Torah scholar well versed in science. Dayan, preacher and physician in Livorno, and later first rabbi of the Sephardi community in London.
The book was originally printed with two engraved title pages, one in Hebrew and one in Spanish. The present copy contains the Hebrew title page only. At top of title page is the figure of Rabbi Yehudah the Prince – author of the Mishnah.
Handwritten inscriptions in several places.
[8], 254 leaves. Lacking 3 leaves: Spanish title page, and leaves [3-4] with dedication in Spanish to officials of the Shaar HaShamayim community in London. One of the unnumbered leaves at beginning of book is blank. Leaves 181-192 bound out of place, after leaf 212. 23.5 cm. Condition varies; first and last leaves in fair condition, many leaves in middle of book in good-fair condition. Stains and wear. Worming and tears to title page and several other leaves, slightly affecting title page, partially repaired with paper (both sides of title page repaired). A detailed illustration of the human body including the internal organs, paralleling it to a multi-story building, is featured on p. 106a.
The book comprises three parts, with divisional title pages. Approbation by R. David Oppenheim and Venetian rabbis. Poems in praise of the author and book.
On leaves 27-29, Zikaron Livnei Yisrael, a report on the examination of Nathan of Gaza by the rabbis of Venice (first printed on a single leaf in Venice, 1668).
