Torah shield. England, first half of 20th Century. Silver (stamped), cast, engraved and sawn. Frame with baroque design and flowers. Ornaments that are screwed into center of shield: pair of lions holding aTorah crown with a Star of David at the top. Open holy ark, on its doors are engraved the Ten Commandments. On two sides are a pair of decorated pillars (ornament or compartment for holding a plate with name of the Torah portion– missing). Chains for hanging. Dedication in Hebrew and English From Ze’ev Koshelson and his wife to the memory of their son Judah “who was killed on the battlefield in the Great War in August 1917”. Height: 30 cm. Width: 24 cm.

Torah shield. Germany, 20th century. Cast copper, silver plated. Tablets of the Law and two lions appear in the center. On the lower part is a rectangular box for placing plaques with the Weekly Torah portion or the holiday. A large Torah crown appears on the upper part of the shield. In the background is a decoration in the shape of a "Parochet". Openwork at the edges (partly broken). Two loops for chains on the sides (upper loop is missing). Maximal width: 25 cm. Maximal height: 35 cm.

Torah Shield. [Caucasia? First half of 20th cent]. Tin-silver, sawn and engraved. Torah shield with geometric decorations, borders decorated with small balls. Two sawn niches to which two silver plaques are attached with nails adorned with the Ten Commandments topped with crowns. Length: 13 cm, width: 20.5 cm.

Decorative item in the form of the Tablets of the Law. [Central Europe, early 20th cent.]. Silver (marked), cast, impressed and partly gilded. Tablets of the Law (gilded) are in the center with the inscription of the Ten Commandments. A pair of lions on both sides of the Tablets. A Torah crown and rocailles. Glass cup. Erlau [Eger, Hungary] 1909. Transparent glass with engraved writing and decoration. Decoration of branches and leaves. On one side: the Star of David, on the other side: the dedication: "Rabbi Israel, Erloi, 1909". It appears that this cup belonged to Rabbi Israel Isaacson (born 1880) a Romanian Hassidic rabbi, Av Bet Din of Erlau. Author of the book “Shomer Mitzvah” on the 613 mitzvot. See attached material. "Safed" Kiddush cup. [Poland, 19th century; Eretz Israel, early 20th century]. Silver (marked), engraved. The Kiddush cup was made in Poland in the 19th century; ornaments were added in Eretz Israel early in the 20th cent. The medallions on which fine ornaments are engraved: "Western Wall", "Tombs of Davidic Line kings" and "Cave of Machpela", surrounded by leaves. Height: 6.5 cm, base diameter: 4 cm. Minor damages.
