On one side appear Kabbalah letters and the inscription "Ha'ARI Hakadosh Yeshiva" and on the other side the inscription "Amulet for good health, protection and success/Safed". Height: 3 cm, width: 2.5 cm. Minor damages.

Kippah for festivals (Yarmulka). [Eastern Europe, 19th century]. Cotton weave, embroidered with gold thread, silver and cotton. Sequins, “Shpanier Arbeit” [Jewish artistic embroidery work, well known in Galicia. According to tradition, this work was done by Spanish fugitives who came to Eastern Europe]. The origine of this kippah is from the house of the of the Belz Rebbes, and it is likely that it was used by the Rebbe Rabbi Aharon Rokah or his father the Rebbe Rabbi Issachar Dov Rokah. * Attached is a letter from a daughter of the family about the provenance of the kippah. Height 15 cm., diameter: approx. 20 cm. Attached is a photo that came with the kippah: The Admor Rabbi Issachar Dov Rokah on holiday in the company of his Hassidim.

A Hebrew text appears in the center (partly unraveled; text not deciphered); next to the borders appears an embroidered text in Arabic (partly unraveled). Height: approx.8-9 cm, width: approx. 15 cm. Colorful table cloth/ decorative fabric. Isfahan, Persia, [early 20th cent]. Fabric, manual printing (stencil); hand colored. Stamped on the reverse: "Made in Iran" (English and Persian). Dense decorations of leaves, flowers and birds. Around the central circle are printed eighteen Stars of David, with the words "Zion" and the letters M-a-g-e-n-d-a-v-i-d. A blessing from the Book of Exodus is printed on the borders. Apparently this fabric was used as a table cloth or as a wall hanging decoration. Length: 102 cm, width: 100 cm. Good condition. Eight samples of Embroidery and Decorations on Cloth [20th century]. Fabric fragments, decorations drawn by hand; embroidery. Seven fabric fragments with the word “Shabbat” and decorations drawn with pattern of the Star of David; one of the fragments is earlier (end of 19th century or beginning of 20th century), with wood embroidered on it inside a Star of David and Torah crown. Average size about 14X10 cm. Fair to good condition.

Shabbat table cloth. [Europe, probably Germany, late 19th cent]. Fabric; embroidery. An embroidery on the lower left corner features a couple sitting at the Shabbat table. On the table are Shabbat candles, a Challah, knife, fish, a bottle of wine and a Kiddush cup. An embroidered inscription in Yiddish: fraytag oyf der nakht/iz yedn yud a melekh….". Presented is only the upper part of the table cloth. The lower part is missing. Height: approx. 48 cm, width: 78 cm. Stains, tears, unraveled lower part.

Passover Seder plate, embroidered pillowcase and a towel for Seder ("Sederzwehl"), belonged to the Heilbronn family. Tann, Germany, end of 19th Century. 1. Passover Seder plate. Cast and engraved pewter. Four plates, connected by vertical posts on feet in the shape of birds feet. In the center of the top plate is an illustration of a Seder table with eight participants. Above the table hangs a “Jewish Star” lamp. In the top plate there are six round openings, for placing dishes for the "simanim" of the Seder. A dedication is engraved in the frame “In memory of going out of Egypt – Sandel und Fanny Heilbronn –Tann”. Below the illustration is the date 1897. The other plates are marked: “Cohen”, “Levi”, “Israel”. In the center of the bottom plate there is a dedication in German: " Zum Andenken an unser silberes ehejubiläum, bleibe diese Sederschüssel unseren Familie; לדור ודור erhalten. Tann (Rhón) an 2ten Rosch Chodesch Elul 5657, Sandel u. Fanny Heilbronn." [a souvenir from our silver wedding… Sandel and Fanny Heilbronn]. Attached are original cloth napkins, used with the plate, finely embroidered in various colors (with the words “Cohen”, “Levi”, “Israel”). Diameter: 30 cm., height: 25 cm. One of the posts is separated from its base. Stains on the napkins. 2. Pillowcase for reclining on Seder night. Embroidered cloth in various colors, quality embroidery, edged with silver lace. In the center of the embroidery of family sitting round a Seder table. In front of the celebrants are wine cups and open Haggadahs. The father is dressed in white, by his side his wife, three sons and two daughters. Above them are the words: “Next Year in Jerusalem” (each letter is embroidered in a different color). At the sides the "simanim" of the Seder. 72X79 cm. Stains. 3. Seder Towel (“Sederzwehl”). Narrow and long Seder Towel (Sederzwehl), fine colored embroidery. Heading at top of towel: “And He brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand” and at the bottom of the towel the words: Blessed be HaMakom, Blessed be He, Blessed be He who gave the Torah to His People”. In the center of the towel, embroidered designs (placed vertically) of the 12 Zodiac signs. At the sides of the designs the names of the Zodiac signs and the months. At the edges of the towel is an embroidered dedication: “Sandel u. Fanny Heilbronn Tann Community 1862". fringes and silver lace at edge (torn). 115 cm. stains.

Fabric Challah cover. Germany, [late 19th cent]. Fabric; embroidery. On the right and left columns appears an embroidered Shabbat Kiddush text. An embroidered inscription appears above the right and left columns. An embroidered eagle appears above the central column, and below are more embroidered inscriptions framed by fabric-like ribbon frames. On the lower part: lions holding the Tablets of the Law with the writing "Shabbat Koddesh". The lions are standing on a structure representing the golden dome in Jerusalem. Other structures are embroidered, as well as additional inscriptions. The cover is bordered by a frame and golden threads. Length: 56 cm, width: 55 cm. Good condition.
