An Israeli songwriter, composer and singer, native of Kvutzat Kineret. Wrote and composed hundreds of Israeli songs portraying life in Israel from a patriotic point of view. A climax in Shemer's musical career was reached when she composed the song "Jerusalem of Gold", for a song festival that took place in Jerusalem in 1967. Shortly after the premiere performance of that song, the Six-Day war broke out and Shemer added a new verse to the song in which she contrasted the situation before the war with the one following it. As a result of composing "Jerusalem of Gold" Shemer turned to be in the eyes of many, the national Israeli songwriter. Shemer won the Prize of Israel for Hebrew Songwriting.

An Israeli poet, playwright, author, songwriter, broadcaster, journalist, art critic, satirist and translator. Gefen was born and raised in Nahalal. Following his military service he moved to Tel-Aviv and started to publish his poems. With time he became part of the mythological group "Lul". In 1972 Gefen started, in addition to writing poems, to publish a weekly column in "Ma'ariv" supplement "Sofshavu'a" and to write songs which became very popular. Composed in 1974 a musical review by the name of "Ze Hakol Bayntaim", which was very successful. Gefen composed during the years seven additional performances in which he criticized society, the authorities and the government. His views, to the left wing of the political map, drew fire both from public figures and from the general public which claimed that Gefen is "not Jewish". Gefen retired from performances in 1989 and decided to focus on writing only. Published novels, plays and numerous children's books.

A dozen negatives are for a poster (with Danny Litani) and in three of the negatives Gefen is seen reading a text in a Peace Convention.

Itur Gelvatz who signed by the pen name G. Itur, was the most famous gossip writer of "Lahiton". He started his work in "Olam HaKolnoa" in the 1960s and later started to write for "Lahiton". Itur was an outsider, and eccentric person, sometimes even ridiculous. Until his arrival in Israel, newspapers hardly wrote about the film industry in Israel or around the world. Itur was the one who actually founded this journalistic genre in Israel and devoted his life to it. His coverage was positive and full of admiration and he never criticized the subjects of his articles.
42 photos of G. Itur.
The photos include mainly interviews and meetings between G. Itur and artists from Israel and from abroad. Amongst the artists: Peter Strauss, Gena Rowlands, Jane Fonda, John Hart, Max von Sydow, Lou Gossett, Omar Sheriff, Elizabeth Taylor, Brook Shields, Muhammad Ali, Pnina Rosenblum, Alain Delon, Arik Sharon, Klaus Kinski.

A humanitarian and peace activist, Israeli air force pilot. In 1965 founded a political party "Ness" which raised the banner of peace with Arab countries. He failed to cross the electoral threshold but declared that if he gains public support he will fly to Egypt carrying a message of peace. In 1966 he flew to Egypt. Following this flight Nathan went on additional trips to enhance peace in the Middle East. Some took him seriously as a peace activist while others viewed him as seeking publicity. Upon his return to Israel Abie Nathan started to dedicate his time and energy to the fight for peace and to humanitarian causes and aiding those in need. He established "The Voice of Peace" radio station which broadcasted from a ship anchored near Tel-Aviv. Abie Nathan was against violence and used hunger strikes as a means for political protests. During the years 1989-1992 struggled against the law forbidding encounters with the enemy and made contact with PLO members and even met with Yasser Arafat. Due to these encounters he was imprisoned twice. In 1997, while in the US, he had a stroke and remained partly paralyzed. In the same year won the "Nuremberg Prize" for human rights.
20 photos of Abie Nathan. Including: broadcasting from the Peace Ship, photo of the Peace Ship, photos from his visit to Ethiopia, with VIPs (Peres, Shlomo Lahat, Kraus) and at work.

Nelson was a famous character in the Israeli Bohemian circles. He was arrested by the Egyptians in July 1957, on the dock of a Danish boat which crossed the Suez Canal, was imprisoned and tortured for spying for Israel. Nelson was released in August of the same year, following the intervention of the UN. In his interrogation it was discovered that he transferred military secrets to the Egyptians. He was put on trial and sentenced to conditional imprisonment for two years and a fine of £1,000. Nelson worked as a journalist and a public relations person, managed the bar "Sof HaOlam" in Eilat and later established in Taba "The Village of Rafi Nelson". This village was the focus of Bohemian life and a center of musical and cultural activities from the late 1960s until the 1980s.
