The monthly periodical was published until 1927. Presented here are issued of three years. First year, 1922: issue 1 (Cheshvan), issue 2 (Kislev), issue 3-4 (double issue, Shvat-Adar), issue 5 (Adar), issue 6 (Nissan Iyar), issue 7 (Tishrei 1923). Second year, 1923: issue 8 (Tamuz). Olam Katan was the first paper in Hebrew for children, except for some early attempts during the 19th century. A total of seven issues were published. The paper was published as an irregular supplement to Eliezer Ben Yehuda's papers "Hazvi" and "Ha-Or", and was meant to present to Jewish school children "stories, songs, fables, riddles, science and history, written according to children's spirit and understanding". The editors were active writers and they were joined by I.M. Pines, Yitzchak Epstein, David Shuv and Nechama Pochachevski, as well as activists such as Menashe Meirovich, Meir Dizengoff and more.
Size and condition vary. Binding restored with adhesive tape, tears to margins, stains. Fair overall condition.

"'Kav"… intends to write about what happens in the different areas of art in Israel and around the world with no intention to assess value or significance". The issues include works by leading, modern, Israeli artists, poetry and literature – both original and translated, interviews with artists, ceramic works, essays about architecture, manifests, etc. Amongst the writers: Ya'akov Agam, Avigdor Arikha, Yigal Tumarkin, Yonatan Ratosh, Aharon Apelfeld, Ram Carmi, Israel Gudovitch, Harold Schimmel, Yehiel Shemi, David Avidan, Yehuda Amihai, Menashe Kadishman, Amos Keinan, Yitzchak Danziger, and others. Hashkafa is a periodical published between 1896 and 1908 (not printed in 1901) by Eliezer Ben Yehudah. Publication of the periodical can be divided into two periods: first period (1896-1900) it served as a supplement for readers in the Diaspora; in the second period (1902-1908) it appeared as a substitute for Hazvi/Haor when the latter was not published. "Hashkafa" was first published as a paper for Jews in the Diaspora from late in 1896 until mid 1900, with essays published in Hazvi. During this period the periodical appeared weekly or bi-weekly and each issue consisted of 8 to 16 pages.
