Large collection of manuscript leaves and booklets – homilies in Hebrew and German (in Hebrew letters), novellae on Shulchan Aruch, and more. [Hungary, 19th century].
Most of the present manuscripts are handwritten by R. Meir Zipser (1815-1869), rabbi of Rechnitz and Stuhlweissenburg (Székesfehérvár), and contain homilies for Shabbat Shuvah and the festivals delivered in 1850-1870, and texts and drafts of letters.
Includes a draft of a sharp polemic letter against the rabbis of Nikolsburg and Budapest.
