Manuscript, commentary on Tosefta Tractates Pesachim, Rosh Hashana, Yoma and Moed Katan, by R. Yitzchak Aharon of Mezeritch and Jerusalem, author of Perishat Yitzchak Aharon. [Jerusalem, ca. 1850s-1860s].
Manuscript handwritten by the author (with deletions and emendations). Three columns on each page. The text of the Tosefta occupies the center of the page, and is flanked on each side by the Perishat Aharon and Derishat Yitzchak (titled Derishat Yitzchak ben Meir on some pages) commentaries. This manuscript was not published.
The author, R. Yitzchak Aharon of Mezeritch (1799-1880), outstanding Torah scholar who immigrated to Jerusalem in ca. 1840s. Prolific author on many parts of the Torah, he left behind a few printed works (Pnei Yitzchak Aharon, Perishat Yitzchak and Perishat Aharon), and many manuscripts, including the present work.
