25 cent coin (quarter) blessed by Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam (the second) of Bobov. [Fifth night of Chanukah, 29th Kislev 1999].
The coin is held in a small plastic bag with a label bearing the emblem of the institutions of the Bobov Chassidut, and an inscription attesting that the coin was given by the rebbe of Bobov on Chanukah 1999.
Envelope enclosed, with pen inscription: "Coin blessed by the rebbe of Bobov".
Letter of authenticity signed by R. Leib Friedman enclosed (Hebrew): "Quarter dollar coin (minted 1997) blessed by Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov (third rebbe of the Bobov dynasty). I received the coin from R. Yosef Shmuel Landau".


Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam (the second) of Bobov (1907-2000), prominent rebbe in recent times. Son of Rebbe Benzion Halberstam, the Kedushat Tzion. After miraculously surviving the Holocaust, he reached the United States where he re-established the Bobov Chassidut, founding communities, yeshivot and Torah institutions in the United States and worldwide.


The recipient of the coin, R. Yosef Shmuel son of R. Matityahu Landau (d. 2014), elder and prominent Chassid of Bobov, one of the mainstays of the Chassidut in the United States and Eretz Israel for over sixty years. He assisted Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov and his son and successor Rebbe Naftali Tzvi Halberstam (1931-2005) in founding the Bobov Torah institutions in the United States after the Holocaust.
