Yehoshua Hatalmi (Radler-Feldman, 1880-1957) was known as "R' Binyamin"-his pen-name .A prolific writer,publicist,translator and
editor. Helped Joseph Chaim Brenner in publishing "Hameorer" and edited numerous periodicals and papers; of the founders of "Brit Shalom" society and a pro-Arab activist in Eretz Israel. Prof. Shmuel Hugo Bergman said in a eulogy: "His viewpoints were daring and brave, even when clashing with the bitter reality and when not fulfilled. Now that he is gone, we are left with the daring ideas as a blessing for generations to come. His friends have to see to it that these ideas will go on living".
The archive includes: copies of outgoing letters; file of incoming letters amongst them letters from leading literary figures and a letter from S.J. Agnon. Letters from historians and public figures in various institutions; folder with letters handwritten by R' Binyamin; newspaper clippings; receipts and invoices; regulations; protocols of committee meetings; bibliography cards with registered articles by R' Binyamin published in various forums, and additional items. Archive of manuscripts and drafts by the writer Mordechai Ben-Yehezkel (1883-1970). Ben-Yehezkel (Halperin) was born in Glinyany, present day Ukraine, and made Aliya to Eretz Israel in 1920. He worked in the Lewinsky Teachers Seminary in Tel-Aviv; between the 1920s and 1940s he worked as a teacher in the "Mizrahi" Teachers Seminary in Jerusalem. Ben-Yehezkel was well known as a researcher of Chasidut and a prolific editor of folk stories. The book "Sefer HaMa'assiyot" was published in six volumes and in many papers and periodicals.
The archive presented here includes drafts of typewritten articles; handwritten copies gathered from the Holy Scriptures and other sources, manuscripts of stories, newspaper clippings and several photographs. Total of hundreds of items. Size varies. General condition - good.

Archive of stories and memoirs by Jacov Liscovitch (1885-1975), Yiddish and Arabic author. Liscovitch was born in Belarus, immigrated to Cairo in 1905, where he published a weekly magazine for children in Arabic, and a weekly magazine for adults in Yiddish. Published novels about the life of women in Egypt. Made aliya to Israel and passed away in Ramat Gan. The street where he lived in Cairo bears his name, next to the Ashkenazi synagogue.

Alexander Epstein (1886-1971), was born in Liverpool. Emigrated to Palestine in 1919 and was appointed as the Industry and Business Supervisor by the Mandate government. He served as the Jaffa District Officer between 1920 and 1945. In 1937 was awarded a British Noble rank. Was appreciated and greatly valued and was one of the most famous Jewish functionaries of his time.
Sarah Epstein headed ג€Wizoג€ Tel Aviv for many years and was active among women, young men and soldiers. She was greatly appreciated and was awarded a silver medal by King George V and was an honored member of ג€Wizoג€ Israel and worldwide.
The archive contains about 1000 photographs (mostly arranged in albums), dozens of documents, letters, journalism fragments, honorary certificates and more.
The content of the archive reflects the coupleג€™s life and activities in Palestine and abroad, and includes many thank you letters and photographs from Palestine and from family trips abroad - Egypt, Crete, Italy, France and more.
