Yehoshua Hatalmi (Radler-Feldman, 1880-1957) was known as "R' Binyamin"-his pen-name .A prolific writer,publicist,translator and
editor. Helped Joseph Chaim Brenner in publishing "Hameorer" and edited numerous periodicals and papers; of the founders of "Brit Shalom" society and a pro-Arab activist in Eretz Israel. Prof. Shmuel Hugo Bergman said in a eulogy: "His viewpoints were daring and brave, even when clashing with the bitter reality and when not fulfilled. Now that he is gone, we are left with the daring ideas as a blessing for generations to come. His friends have to see to it that these ideas will go on living".
The archive includes: copies of outgoing letters; file of incoming letters amongst them letters from leading literary figures and a letter from S.J. Agnon. Letters from historians and public figures in various institutions; folder with letters handwritten by R' Binyamin; newspaper clippings; receipts and invoices; regulations; protocols of committee meetings; bibliography cards with registered articles by R' Binyamin published in various forums, and additional items. Lot of about 700 items. Size varies, general condition - good.
