The newspaper, published concurrently in Berlin, Vienna and Prague under the supervision of the Gestapo, served as a mouthpiece for posting orders and notices issued by the Nazi Party. Birth certificate with the name Tamila [family name not clear], native of Prague, 1902, with ink stamps and signatures of the Prague Jewish Community (Israel. Cultusgemeinde in Prag). Certificate printed on paper and cloth-backed. The City of Vienna ink stamped on the reverse, on August 2, 1939 "annahme des zusatznamen Israel - Sara angezeigt!" - stating that the name "Sarah" was added to the original name, by command. 33.5x20.5 cm. Fair condition. Stains and tears.

Letter sent by Kurt Albert Grֳ¼nbaum and his wife from Haifa to their son, Karl Israel Grֳ¼nbaum, in Vienna. July 1941.
The Berlin Red Cross transferred the letter to Vienna (ink stamps on the envelope). The letter is short and concise: "Do not worry about us. Bon Voyage. Note our new address. Kisses, your parents". Attached is a leaflet from the Berlin Red Cross headquarters, detailing the method and conditions of transferring letters to citizens outside of Germany during the war. Size varies, fair-good condition.

UGIF was the organization of French Jews during the Holocaust. Established in November 1941 by the Vichy regime according to the Nazis' request, in order to integrate all the Jewish organizations into one entity. UGIF was subject to the general commissary for Jewish affairs, as the executor of the conquerors' policy. Payment-stamps are pasted on the reverse. 16x12 cm. Good condition. Folding-line.

Booklet with the name of Simon Israel Weiss / Weitz, who was probably a member of the Jewish Community in Vienna (Israelitische Kultusgemeinde Wien) during the Holocaust. As was customary in those days, the name "Israel" was added to his given name. According to the ink stamps in his booklet (from the years 1940-1945) it seems that Weiss continued his activities in Vienna during the war. 38 pp, 15 cm. Very good condition.

50 Postcards sent by the Lazarus family and other Jewish families from Terezin Ghetto (Theresienstadt, Czechoslovakia) to Austria and Germany, 1943-1944.
Some are regular postcards sent from Terezin Ghetto with general information about those imprisoned in the ghetto; others are designated ghetto postcards with a printed version: "I confirm receipt of a parcel". The postcards were sent to acquaintances in Vienna and Kaiserlautern, Germany. All bear postal stamps, censorship-stamps and are postmarked. Attached are 8 delivery receipts of postal items from Vienna to Terezin. Size varies, condition varies, good.
