The Mekubal and researcher Rabbi Yehoseph Shwartz was born in Germany in 1805, moved to Jerusalem in 1833, died in 1865. He is known for his book Tvu'at Ha'aretz about halachic and historic matters pertaining to the Land of Israel. Rabbi Nachman Natan Koronil (1810-1890), born in Amsterdam, a gaon and mekubal, friend of Rabbi Yehoseph Shwartz from youth. Amongst the great scholars of Jerusalem. He published books from early manuscripts.
