On flyleaf preceding the title page is an particularly nice dedication, in Dutch, in colored ink, with floral adornments and various ornaments, in honor of the birthday of the boy Jan David Lopes Cardozo, son of Ya'akov Lopes Cardozo and Louise (her maiden name was Heiman), born on the 16th of Elul 1862. Handsome leather binding with an impression of the name "David ben R' Ya'akov Lopes Cardozo".
144 leaves, 16.5 cm. Good condition. Dedication leaf and other leaves are detached. Elaborate leather binding, partially detached. Clasp remnants.
