"Parochet" (Torah ark curtain). Fulda, (Hessen, Germany), 1928.
Velvet bordeaux fabric "Parochet", decorated with gold and silver embroidery, pillars with clusters of grape, a pair of lions and a crown. A dedication is embroidered in its center, donated in 1928 by Avraham and Leah Wertheim: "In memory of my father Avraham ben Naftali Wertheim Fulda community leader and his wife Leah bat Eliyahu Refael 1928".
120X210 cm. Overall good condition. Three coarse tears to top. Stains, primarily on reverse side.
