The celebrated city of Jerusalem (now called by the Turks Cudsembaric) including its several famous buildings now in decay / Lodge sculp, drawn by John Lodge. [Published by Alexander Hogg, Britain, ca. 1874]. Panorama of Jerusalem, an engraving colored by hand. The map was printed in the book "Millar's New Complete & Universal System of Geography" and in many of the copies appears at the top of the map the inscription "Engraved for Millar's New Complete & Universal System of Geography". This inscription does not appear in the copy offered here. Size of engraving 31X20.5 cm. Good condition. Some foxing.
