Created by Raphael Avraham Shalem (b. 1888), Bezalel artist. Shalem meant to print his painting in 1916 (as appears in the painting) but printing expenses were too high for him and he finally printed the painting only in 1937.

Hanukkah lamp, designed by "Bezalel" [Eretz Israel, mid 20th century].
Repousee brass sheet. Marked in Hebrew: "Bezalel Yerushalem".
On the back is a depiction of the lighting of the Temple Menorah by the High Priest, accompanied by other figures and the Hebrew inscription: "They kindled lights in your holy courtyards, and instituted these eight days of Hanukkah. Beneath the row of fonts are medallions in the shape of ancient coins. On the right of the oil fonts there is room for the Shamash. The lamp rests on four legs (lacking two), with a suspension loop.
Height: 14 cm, width: 17 cm. Good- fair condition. Two legs missing.

About 185 photographs of objects made by "Bezalel": objects made of brass and copper, silver, Damascene craftsmanship, filigree, etched objects, and more. Some objects are marked by catalogue numbers (equivalent to the numbers in "Bezalel" catalogue published in Berlin in ca. 1913). The photographs are cut and mounted on the album leaves. Some photographs were cut out of the album with parts of the leaves.

A square silver adornment, set with turquoise stones. Attached to the adornment are four braids ending with ribbon-threads, with round fabric-decorations at their ends.

Seal with the letter 'א' with the images of Napoleon and Josephine. [France, 20th century].
Cast, repousee and engraved.
Seal with the letter 'א'. On one side appear a relief of Napoleon's head and the words "E. SEURRE" and "Malmaison". On the reverse appears a relief of Josephine's head.
Charles Marie Émile Seurre (1798-1858) was a French sculptor who sculpted Napoleon's figure. Josephine and Napoleon lived in Château de Malmaison in the years 1799-1814. In 1905 a museum was opened in the castle. It is possible that the seal was sold as a souvenir.
Height: 6 cm, diameter of base: 1.1 cm. Good condition. Stains.

1. Jewelry box. A print in color on the lid depicts the Tower of David and a Biblical view, inscribed: "Migdal David/the Citadel". A decorative frame and the inscription "Jerusalem". The interior is covered with red fabric. A lock on the front panel (broken). Length: 20.5 cm, width: 17 cm, height: 6.5 cm. Fair-poor condition. Significant wear, broken and lacking hinge, base of box is separated from the body.
2. Cigarette box. On the lid appears a full color printed illustration – view of the Temple Mount and the vicinity and a decorative frame, inscribed: "Bezalel Yerushalem". Below the inscription, the words: "Yerushalem" in Hebrew and in English. Length: 14.5 cm, width: 10 cm, height: 3 cm. Fair condition. Wear, cracks to wood.
3. Savings Box. A full color print of the Temple Mount, the Citadel and the Old City appear on the upper part, inscribed: "Cash/Jerusalem". On the front panel "Jerusalem" is printed. Length: 13 cm, width: 9 cm, height: 7.5 cm. Fair condition, wear, stains and scratches.
4. Small box. The words "Jerusalem" in Hebrew and English are printed on the top. Length: 6.5 cm, max. width: 5 cm, height: 3 cm. Good-fair condition. Some damage, scratches, inscription on the bottom.
