Recommendation for R. Eliyahu Gordon, "a rabbi of Vilna" - he served as rabbi in Shnipishok (Šnipiškės), a small suburb of Vilna; who was travelling to the United States. R. Chaim Ozer praises R. Eliyahu as an excellent preacher, apart from being an experienced Torah scholar and posek, and asks his acquaintance in the United States to help him find a rabbinic position.
