Large "Shiviti", with Kabbalistic motifs and letter combinations for protection and safeguard. Herat, West Afghanistan / Jerusalem, [early 20th century]. Writer: Mashiach Ashgari.
In the center - seven Psalms liturgies, written in the shape of large Menorahs and Stars of David. On the left and on the right sides are illustrations of Tablets of the Law with the Ten Commandments, Stars of David (with "Zion"), Torah Crowns and various letter combinations. On the lower part, writer's signature and a dedication: "The writer… I wrote it for Avraham ben HaMerucham…" (Hebrew).
