Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom Yosef son of Yitzchak with the bride Sarah daughter of Yitzchak. Yazd, Adar 1868. Frame adorned with wavy lines with floral illustrations. At the top are four cypress trees made with Boteh-shaped block-printing. Some letters have curly ornaments. At the bottom is a Tosefet Ketubah in Judeo-Persian. Among the signatures: Rabbis, descendants of the Or Shraga - “Yitzchak son of R’ Moshe, “ Moshe son or R’ Yitzchak grandson of the Ma’or Shraga” and “David son of R’ Or”. 41X49 cm. Fair condition. Mounted on paper. Open tears, with damage to text. Creases and folding marks. Ink smears. Open tears to upper margins. Framed (not examined out of frame).
