Anti-Semitic essay by Georg Nigrinus, a priest in the town of Giessen in Germany. An extremely harsh essay preaching to persecute Jews, influenced by the writing of German theologian Martin Luther, "The Jews and their lies".
Ownership inscription facing title page: "Zunz" – it seems that this is the signature of the scholar Yom Tov Lipman Zunz. Markings and a short inscription appear within the book; it is possible that those are in Zunz's handwriting. [112] leaves, 14.5 cm. Cardboard binding. Good condition. Stains, creases to title page.
