1-8. Eight woodcuts – various stages in the preparation of an illustration for the book "Kabalah" by G. Patai. [ca. 1935]. All of the woodcuts are signed by Steinhardt. The first seven are numbered 1-7. The eighth woodcut, the final one, is signed in Hebrew and in English. Kolb, 170. 9-11. Three handwritten letters by Steinhardt, to Mr. Vogelsohn [Menachem Vogelsohn], 1943. German. The letters concern an exhibition of Steinhardt's works. One letter is written on the reverse of a woodcut created by Steinhardt; two small woodcuts appear on the upper part of the two other letters. Lot of 11 items. Size and condition vary.
