"Mizrah", cut in parchment. [Eastern Europe], beginning of 20th century. Parchment, cut and painted by hand. Menorah in center, with a deer at the two sides. Above a pair of lions hold an oblong panel with the inscription "Mizrah". A raised balcony and two poles. A pair of large vases on which is written the year in Hebrew (1900). From the vases come out branches and plants, with various birds nesting in them. lace frame, at the top of the frame: Tablets of the Law [with the words of the ten commandments] and a pair of birds. 29X30 cm., in a frame: 34X42 cm. Not inspected outside the frame.
