These reforms were the harbingers of the reform movement in Germany. This book contains a collection of letters by Torah leaders who strongly opposed the reforms, including a letter by Rabbi Akiva Eiger, the Chatam Sofer, Maharam Bennet, etc. This book is the German edition, published the same year as the Hebrew edition. 91 pp. 15 cm.
