Destruccio Iherosolime [Destruction of Jerusalem / Destruction of the First Temple by the Chaldeans], double incunabula leaf (no. LXIIII) from Hartmann Schedel's "Schedelsche Weltchronik" ("Nuremberg Chronicle"). [Nuremberg: Anton Koberger, 1493].

According to Laor, this is only the second view of Jerusalem ever printed (Laor 1125).
Sheet approx. 39X54.5 cm, in a 59X73.5 cm frame. Good condition. Clean paper. Tears to vertical folding mark (reinforced with adhesive tape in two places). Unexamined out of frame.
