Destruccio Iherosolime [Destruction of Jerusalem / Destruction of the First Temple by the Chaldeans], double incunabula leaf (no. LXIIII) from Hartmann Schedel's "Schedelsche Weltchronik" ("Nuremberg Chronicle"). [Nuremberg: Anton Koberger, 1493].
Woodcut (uncolored) depicting the destruction of Jerusalem and the First Temple by Nebuzaradan, commander of the guard of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon, in the year 586 BCE.
According to Laor, this is only the second view of Jerusalem ever printed (Laor 1125).
