Davar Yerushalayim, the newspaper of the workers of Jerusalem. Jerusalem: Lifshitz Press, July-November 1948. Issues 1-113 (no other issues printed).
The newspaper "Davar Yerushalayim" was published in the throes of the siege of Jerusalem, after the chief newspaper of the Histadrut – "Davar", stopped being delivered to the besieged city. Its editor was the writer Dov Rabin, and it was considered the most orderly and professional newspaper among those that were printed in besieged Jerusalem. After four and a half months, when the conditions improved, it was decided to stop its printing.
Before us are all the issues of the newspaper, bound together in a hard binding.
44.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Fold lines and minor blemishes. Small tears along the edges of several issues. Restored tears to one issue. Stamps on several pages.
