Ownership inscription on the endpaper of vol. I attesting that the book belongs to Rebbe Shmuel Shmelke of Seret.

Two volumes. Part I: [2], 4, 9-76, 76-80 leaves. Lacking leaves 5-8. Parts II and III: 59; [1], 37 leaves. Lacking [1] final leaf, errata. 22.5-24.5 cm. Partially printed on dry, brittle paper. Good-fair condition. Stains (dark stains to several leaves in vol. I). Tears, including minor open tears to several leaves, repaired in part with paper (marginal paper repairs to title page of part II, affecting border). Many stamps. New leather bindings (non-uniform).
