The books were printed at the IDF military base at Fā’id, Egypt after the Yom Kippur War, following instructions of the Chabad-Lubavitch Rebbe. This printing encountered many difficulties including 20 consecutive hours of driving, a special authorization from Ariel Sharon, etc., and was seen as a shining example of the heroic devotion Chassidim displayed in fulfilling their Rebbe's instructions. In those days, this episode was widely covered by Israeli media. After the war, the Rebbe attributed great importance to this printing, from both spiritual and security aspects. Due to mistakes in the first printing of the Tanya in Fā’id, the Rebbe initiated another printing of the book in Fā’id. This Tanya is the second revised edition. Three books, 11.5 cm. Good condition.
