Complete set of the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, Jesenice, 1739-1741.
All books contain ancient signature of Rabbi “Avraham” [who purchased the book “from inheritance of my esteemed rabbi and mentor”]. Later signatures of Rabbi “David son of Ephraim Fischel HaLevi”. At the beginning of one of the volumes, ownership notation of Rabbi Gedalia Badki from 1776 in the handwriting and signature of his son Eliezer. Several lengthy erudite glosses in ancient handwriting, similar to handwriting of signature of abovementioned Rabbi “Avraham”.
4 volumes, various sizes and conditions, missing 7 leaves at beginning of volume I. Missing leaf 168 in volume III. Detached leaves and wear. Ancient leather and wood bindings, damaged and worn.
Volume I is from the 1741 supplement edition, which contains [3] leaves of indexes and a colophon at end [unlike a different copy of [5] leaves at end which is listed in Bibliography Institute CD record 0150085].
