“Mikraot Gedolot” - Chamisha Chumshei Torah, with the commentaries of Rashi, Ramban, Ibn Ezra, Rashbam, Ba’al HaTurim, Sforno, etc. Vienna 1859. Five volumes.
Signatures of the Gaon Rabbi Abraham Shag- Zwebner [and his family], one of the leading students of the “Hatam Sofer” and one of the great men of his generation. He lived in Proyen-Kirchen [recorded in his signature P"K]. From 1827 he served as Rabbi of Shatelsdorf and from 1852 he was Av Bet Din of Kobersdorf. In 1873 he moved to Jerusalem together with his great student Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld.
5 volumes, “Bereshit”: [4], 2-176, 13 leaves. (large tears in the last few pages with loss of text). “Shemot”: [1], 168, 5, 27 leaves. “Vayikra”: [1], 120 leaves. “Bamidbar": 122 leaves (missing title page). “Devarim”: [1], 111, 32 leaves (perhaps last page is missing). 26 cm. Good to fair condition, stains and wear, tears on a number of pages.
