Comprehensive Genealogical Study of the Ettlinger Family from Germany – Single Copy

Opening: $800
Unsold
Vorfahren der Kinder Ettlinger, genealogical study prepared by Shlomo Ettlinger. Self-published, Nahariya, 1941. German.
Two volumes documenting all of the family members Ettlinger was able to trace, from the 16th century on, most from Frankfurt am Main and its surroundings. Includes name lists of family members and a page (or more) dedicated to each family member with all of the details known about him or her and a picture (if one exists). The entire study was typed out on a typewriter and hand-bound with string. The photographs are original and glued onto the leaves.
On the inside cover of the first volume is a declaration by the author stating that this copy belongs to his
daughter, and that there is only one other copy, delivered to the National Library in Jerusalem. A search in the NLI online catalogue uncovered no such copy. There is also no other copy in any library in the world. The only existing copy is a microform copy in the collection of the Leo Baeck Institute.
Unnumbered pages (hundreds). 31 cm. Very good condition. Damage to bindings.
