The famous Rabbi Chaim Zussman Sofer was Rav of Budapest (1786-1822), wrote Machane Chaim Responsa. He was born in Pressburg and was circumcised by the Chatam Sofer. He was considered one of the greatest disciples of the Chatam Sofer. He also served as Rav of Munkacz.
