Important copy, with signatures and ownership inscriptions of two disciples of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
On the title page and front endpaper, many signatures of R. Yaakov Yoske Mahler of Sanz, a prominent disciple of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
Ownership inscription on the front endpaper, attesting that the book belonged to R. Mordechai Eliezer Weber Rabbi of Ada, another leading disciple of the Divrei Chaim. The inscription is signed by his son R. David Weber.
R. Mordechai Eliezer Weber of Ada (1822-1892), disciple of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Served as rabbi in various Hungarian communities, later immigrating to Jerusalem. Published several works, including polemic writings against those at variance with the rulings of his teacher the Divrei Chaim.
