Twenty printed wedding songs. Germany, 1902-1935 (mostly of the 1910s and 20s). German.
In Western Europe and mainly in Germany it was common to compose rhymed songs of comic nature to be read and sung during the wedding feast in honor of the groom and bride.
The names of the groom and bride are mentioned in all of the songs: members of the families: Dzialoszynski, Wertheim, Wolkenfeld, Jawitz, Unger, Oschinsky. Some of the weddings gained several printed songs (different versions). Size varies, good condition.
