A detailed booklet about the activities of the Jewish Women Leage in Isenburg, founded by Bertha Pappenheim. Pappenheim (1859-1936) – a pioneer social worker. Established an orphanage for Jewish girls and directed it for 12 years. Founded in 1904 the Jewish Women League, and started a worldwide campaign against prostitution. Was devoted to social work and was a pioneer in this area in Germany. In addition, composed fairy tales, prayers and published a play about women abused by men. 51, [12] pp, 25.5 cm. Good condition.
