Large collection of letters, by British rabbis and the United Kingdom, sent to Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman, Av Beit Din of Liverpool (1886-1976), who later served as Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv and as Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel. [Most of the letters are from the 1930s]. The letters are written by Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Farber, London; Rabbi David Feldman, Manchester (2 letters); Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Horwitz, Leeds (2 letters); Rabbi Moshe Eliezer HaLevi Rabinowitz, Sunderland; Rabbi Shemarya Menashe HaCohen Adler, London; Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac HaLevi Herzog, Dublin, Ireland (2 letters – one a long letter of Torah thoughts); Rabbi Moshe Eliyahu Rogoznitzky, Cardiff; etc. Two handwritten and signed letters from Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman. 18 letters, size and condition vary.
