Collection of approximately 30 postcards, depicting views in Palestine. Paris: various publishers [early decades of the 20th century].
Postcards depicting views of Palestine: Jerusalem, including Mount of Olives, the Temple Mount, the Church of the Holy Sepluchre, the Via Dolorosa, the Tomb of Absalom, the Western Wall, Jaffa Street, and more; Nazareth; Mount Carmel; Jaffa, and more.
The majority of the postcards were published by Levy et Neurdein Réunis (Paris) in the 1920s. Some of the postcards were printed by an earlier incarnation of the same company (ca. 1905 to 1920) – Levy Fils & Cie.; and some were printed by A. Moutet (Paris) and by Péres Blancs, St. Anne (Jerusalem).
All postcards (excluding one) were not used.
14X9 cm. Good condition. Minor stains. Pencil inscriptions to verso of several postcards. Inked stamp to verso of one postcard.
