Printed invitation to the wedding of the groom R. Dov Schwartzman, with the bride Sara Pesha, R. Aharon Kotler’s only daughter. [New York, Kislev 1946].
Two letters were written on the back of the invitation, one handwritten and signed by R. Aharon Kotler, and the second handwritten and signed by his wife, Rebbetzin Chana Perel Kotler. The envelope, addressed to R. Shabtai Yagel and his family in Ramat Gan, is enclosed.
R. Aharon Kotler writes: "…please accept our great appreciation for your faithful blessings, which emanate from the depth of your pure heart, and whoever blesses shall be blessed by G-d with all good forever, may you reap much satisfaction from all your sons… may you merit to disseminate Torah in prosperity… One who loves him eternally, Aharon Kotler". Rebbetzin Chana Perel writes: "Please accept my thanks as well… may we merit to inform and be informed of only good news, and may you be blessed with all goodness and much satisfaction from your dear sons... One who esteems and honors you for your great stature, Chana Perel Kotler".

Seven letters signed by R. Eliezer Yehuda Finkel, dean of the Mir yeshiva. Mir (Poland, present day: Belarus), 1922-1936. Six letters in Hebrew and one in English.
The letters were typewritten or written by a scribe, and signed by the yeshiva dean. One letter bears his full signature: "E--- son of R. N.Tz. Finkel".
The letters are addressed to R. Yisrael Yaakov Yaffe, a rabbi in Manchester, and to the philanthropist R. Shlomo Steinberg. Letters of acknowledgement for donations and for the fundraising they arranged on behalf of the Mir yeshiva. The letters include many blessings, wishes for a good year and for the various festivals. R. Eliezer Yehuda describes in his letters the difficult financial straits of the yeshiva, and the hundreds of prominent Torah scholars studying there.
7 letters, on official stationery. Size and condition vary. Marginal open tears to some letters, with tape repairs.

In the letter, addressed to R. Moshe Avigdor Amiel, chief rabbi of Tel Aviv, the Brisker Rav asks that the estate of a Jew from Brisk who passed away in Tel Aviv be sent to his young orphan heirs who remained in Brisk.

Letter (unsigned) handwritten by R. Avraham Yeshayahu Karelitz, author of Chazon Ish, regarding the use of electric milking machines on Shabbat. [Bnei Brak, ca. 1940s].
The letter (partially damaged) discusses the permissible way of using automatic milking machines on Shabbat. The Chazon Ish rules that the machine can only be used with the milk going to waste, and rejects a different solution which was suggested. Further in the letter, he proposes a way of building the machines which would solve the halachic prohibitions involved.

The first letter is a recommendation to philanthropists to transfer charity money to the charity fund of R. David Elbaum (he mentions a letter from R. Shach testifying to the trustworthiness of those managing the fund). The second letter is a letter acknowledging the receipt of funds from the Israel Relief Fund, via R. Ze'ev Shapira.
In both letters, the Steipler wishes the patrons of Torah much success and blessing.

• Letter handwritten and signed by R. Shmuel Greineman, addressed to R. Moshe Porush (of the Central Agudath Israel in Jerusalem). New York, 1934.
R. Moshe Porush was working at that time on arranging immigration permits for the Chazon Ish and his family. R. Greineman writes that he heard from the Chazon Ish that his (R. Shmuel's) permit had been arranged and was being sent to him. R. Shmuel mentions his mission in the United States, and signs with yearning to celebrate the coming Passover in the Holy Land.

Seven leaves handwritten by the author, Rebbe Tzvi Hirsh, with his emendations and deletions in the body of the text. Most of these homilies were published after the passing of the author in his book HaYashar VehaTov (Munkacs, 1880), after being edited. These are the original homilies, as they were recorded by the author, with textual variations compared to the printed version (see foreword to Ach Pri Tevuah, by the publisher R. Ze'ev Wolf, grandson of the author, who explains how he edited and corrected the original text, with the consent of his grandfather). Several passages in this manuscript were presumably never published.
