Social-literary and informative monthly for the Jewish ‘colony’ in Cuba. Approximately 6,000 Jews arrived in Cuba from Russia, Poland, and Germany between 1933-1943. Most were on their way to the United States, but because the immigration quota had been filled, they camped in Cuba using it as a temporary stop. Eventually an active community emerged which included schools, synagogues, etc. Yiddish. With many photographs and advertisements.
