Album prepared for the first anniversary of the liberation of Haifa Port. The album contains 36 photographs taken by Yehudah Rokach, Rudolf Jonas and Birkenfeld, mounted on large paper leaves. Including photographs showing: reception in honor of a ship with immigrants (Olim), the old passengers dock, workers during work, and more. The album contains six title pages and four tables printed on the background of silvery illustrations of the port. A printed paper label at the end of the album lists the names of the editor of the album and the photographers. See also previous item.
Total of 36 photographs, 21.5X15.5 cm. Album: 31X41.5 cm. Good condition. Stains, mainly to leaves and at margins of photographs. Slight creases and tears at margins (mainly to tissue guards). Stains to cover.

Photograph album belonging to a British soldier who served in Palestine. [Ca. 1937-1938].
About 240 black-and-white photographs, arranged in an album and titled on its leaves in handwriting (English). Most were photographed in Palestine; some depict various destructive acts that occurred in the course of the Arab Revolt.
Photographs include:
· Photographs of a vehicle that hit a mine on its way to Tulkarm (1938) and the questioning of Arab suspects following the event; additional case of a mine that exploded and caused the death of a British commander; photographs taken following an attack on the British railway; an overturned vehicle in Ramallah, and more.
· Photographs of soldiers in Jerusalem and various sites in the city - Damascus Gate, Jaffa Gate, worshipers at the Western Wall, the Tower of David, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Dome of the Rock, the YMCA building, the British military cemetery, the King David Hotel and more.
· Photographs from a ceremony held in honor of the coronation of George VI as King of the United Kingdom (May 1937).
· Photograph of the Trans-Jordan Frontier Force.
· Photographs from various cities and sites in the country: Rachel's Tomb, Gethsemane, Bethlehem, Lod (including a number of photographs of planes at the airport), Jaffa, an Arab wedding at Jenin, Tsrifin, Haifa (view towards Bat Galim from Mount Carmel, the Bat Galim Casino, the Haifa port, a ship of the Royal Navy in the port, the beach and more), Netanya, Rishon LeZion (visit to a brewery and more), and others.
· Photographs from Malta, Gibraltar and Port Said.
· Photographs of the soldier's family.
The album is bound in a fine olive wood binding, with "Bezalel"-style decorations.
Photograph size varies, approx. 4X6.5 to 12X17.5 cm. Most of the photographs are approx. 6X8.5 cm. Album: 21X29 cm. Good overall condition. Most tissue guards missing.

Photograph album of a member of the Blau Weiss movement, captioned and dated by hand, and four paper items from the movement's jubilee convention. Germany and Israel, 1917-1962.
1. Album with some 90 photographs of the movement's members, from the years 1917-1919.
The album documents the movement's members on outings, sports competitions and ball games, field lessons and more. At the end of the album is a photograph of a Succah set for the holiday, decorated with flags and Stars of David. Most of the photographs mounted on the album pages are captioned by hand, dated, and include the names of the photographed persons and the places where they were photographed.
2-5. Four paper items printed for the movement's jubilee convention, in 1962, including a celebratory booklet with photographs by Erich Comeriner, a list of the 673 invited members, and more.
The youth movement "Blau-Weiss" (German: Blue-White) was founded in Germany in 1912 as a general youth movement by assimilated families whose children were turned away by the nationalist German movements. Until the 1920s the movement did not tend towards Zionism and its values, but after the end of World War I it began to adopt a Zionist ideological orientation and gained growing popularity. The movement was outlawed in Germany in 1929.
Photographs: 5.5X5.5 cm to 14X8.5 cm. Album: 26 cm, bound with string (unraveled). Some album leaves detached. Good overall condition. Light stains and creases to album leaves. Some tears, without damage to photographs.

A photograph album portraying "HaShomer HaTza'ir" members in Poland. Krakow, Lvov, Szeniawa, Rzeszów and other locations, 1928-1932.
About 210 photographs arranged in an album, documenting groups and regiments of "HaShomer HaTza'ir" movement in east Europe, dated chronologically. Tens of title pages skillfully designed, with drawings, photographs and handwritten titles - names of places, the groups, guides and the years.
Among the photographs: movement members during a trip (for being awarded the movement ribbon), 1930; group members climbing the Tetra mountains; group-photos of "Gordon", "Lapid", "Perachim", "Bnei Midbar" and other regiments; members during diverse sports activities; movement's clubs in Europe; and more.
Total of approx. 210 photographs. Average size: 4X2 cm to 13.5X8.5 cm. Album: 18X14.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains to some of the photographs. Small tears to some of the album's leaves. Bound with string, several detached leaves.
