37 photographs, mounted on large paper leaves and titled by hand, by Yitzchak Altuvia, one of the heads of "Solel Boneh" (the company operated the port during the first years), who documented the withdrawal of the British and the handover of the port to Israel. The album includes photographs showing: the boat of the last British commander leaving the port, Israeli flag is raised and the British flag is removed, visit of Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, singing "Hatikvah", first boat with new immigrants enters the port, and more.
