A pair of Torah finials (“apples”). [Morocco, first half of 20th century]. Light colored metal and copper, sawn and soldered. Massive finials, impressive folk art. Each finial has five edges. Each edge is decorated with sawn repeated patterns (from bottom to top): oblong rounds or small horseshoe-arches, a grid, large horseshoe-arch, a square with a sawn inscription: “Kodesh LeHashem” (inscription on all five edges), diagonal grid and a small rhombus. The finials are topped with metal arches. Height: 38 cm. Fair condition. Chains missing. Broken decorations at top of finials. Corrosion and bends.

Two Pairs of Torah finials (“Apples”). Morocco, [early 20th century]. Cast brass. Curly leg screwed to a lattice-work body with a stylized vegetal decoration. A protruding ornament on top of finials. Average height: 29 cm. Good-fair condition. Screwing of one pair was replaced by welding. Top ornament of one pair is broken.

Pair of Torah finials. [Aden], Yemen, [19th-20th century]. Repouseé silver, engraved and embossed; filigree. Body of finials, shaped as a slightly flattened ball, decorated with stripes of geometric and vegetal patterns. Six chains with bells are suspended from the center. A ball on upper part topped with an additional decoration, with filigree and silver grains. A short and wide cylinder at the base is connected to the handle. An additional filigree ornamentation at the tip of the handle. Height: 25 cm. Fair-good condition. Bends, old repairs, holes. Two pairs of Torah finials. Yemen, [19th-20th century]. 1. Pair of finials. Silver, filigree. Particularly small finials, on a cylindrical leg widening downwards. Body of finial is made of three protrusions in different shapes, with filigree decorations. On the upper part hang chains with balls. A Star of David, topped with a small ball, on top of the finial, the inscription: “Shadai”. Height: 15.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Silver is worn and stained. One ball on top of finials is missing. 2. Pair of Torah finials. Cast and engraved brass. Body of finial is narrow and elegant. Positioned on a cylindrical leg, decorated with a vegetal and geometric pattern. The finial has three protrusions decorated with fish, a Star of David and a vegetal pattern. Hexagonal ball on top of finials. Height: 33 cm. Good condition. Soldering marks.

Three pairs of Torah finials, made of silver. Persia / Eretz Israel, [first decades of 20th century]. 1. General shape is conical, narrowing upwards. On top – a Star of David with “Zion” within. Decorations in vegetal patters and hearts are engraved on the finials. Five chains with bells. Height: 27.5-26.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Slight break. Bends. Chain missing, bell missing. 2. General shape is conical, narrowing upwards, with a ball below. On top - Star of David with “Zion” within. Engraved decorations - vegetal patterns. Dedications are engraved on the handles: “Esther bat Ktunzani Eliyahu, in honor of King David” (Hebrew) and “Nisani bat Ktunzani Eliyahu in honor of King David”(Hebrew). Height: 23 cm. Good condition. Damages and some bends. 3. General shape is conical narrowing upwards, with a ball below. On top appears an adornment shaped as a flower bud. Vegetal and geometric decorations are engraved on the body of the finial. Eight chains with bells. Height: 29.5 cm. Good condition. Slight crack. Bends.
