Two pairs of Torah finials. Yemen, [19th-20th century]. 1. Pair of finials. Silver, filigree. Particularly small finials, on a cylindrical leg widening downwards. Body of finial is made of three protrusions in different shapes, with filigree decorations. On the upper part hang chains with balls. A Star of David, topped with a small ball, on top of the finial, the inscription: “Shadai”. Height: 15.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Silver is worn and stained. One ball on top of finials is missing. 2. Pair of Torah finials. Cast and engraved brass. Body of finial is narrow and elegant. Positioned on a cylindrical leg, decorated with a vegetal and geometric pattern. The finial has three protrusions decorated with fish, a Star of David and a vegetal pattern. Hexagonal ball on top of finials. Height: 33 cm. Good condition. Soldering marks.
