Two medals, a plaque and a button, in honor of Sarah Bernhardt (1844-1923), a French stage actress of Jewish origin, who was considered at the time the "Most famous actress in the world". [France, first half of 20th century?].
1. Medal awarded to Sarah Bernhardt by a society of discharged soldiers in France (société de secours mutuels des ex militaries), 1877.
Obverse: Emblem composed of an armor and various arms surrounded by the society's name and the year. Reverse: A French dedication: "Souvenir of February 4th 1877". In the center appears an engraved inscription: "A Mlle Sarah Bernhardt de la Comédie-Française" [Miss Sarah Bernhardt of the "Comédie-Française" (one of the French national theatres)]. Diameter: 50 mm.
2. Plaque with Bernhardt's portrait. 68X69 mm.
3. Button with the portrait of Bernhardt playing the role of Napoleon. Framed in an eagle-shaped frame. Diameter: 35 mm.

Three medals – painters and poets. Sweden, Switzerland and Holland, 19th century.
1. Silver medal in memory of Oscar Levertin (1862-1906), Swedish poet, critic and historian of literature.
Obverse: Levertin's portrait, his name and dates of birth and death. On the left appears an inscription in Latin: "Sagax literarum arbiter" [literary critic]. Signed: Erik Lindberg (Swedish sculptor and maker of medals; designed the Nobel Prize medals). Reverse: A harp with roses decorating its base. In the background appears a building and cypresses. Encircled by an inscription in Latin: "rosas et cupressus aequali cantavit ardore". Diameter: 45 mm.
2. Medal in memory of the Dutch painter Solomon Leonard Verveer, 1813-1876.
Obverse: Verveer's portrait and a dedication in Dutch.
Reverse: Easel covered with cloth, with a landscape painting. Next to the easel stands a stool on which a palette and brushes are placed. Surrounding the image is an inscription in Dutch "S.L. Verveer, loved by many…". Diameter: 60 mm.

1. A medal made on behalf of the "Belgian Liberals" in honor of the author Eugène Sue, author of the "Wandering Jew". Belgium, 1845. Maker: Laurent Joseph Hart.
Obverse: Eugène Sue's portrait and an inscription in French: LES LIBÉRAUX BELGES A EUGÈNE SÜE" [ Belgian Liberals tribute to Sue]. Marked: Hart Janv 1845. Reverse: quill pen surrounded by titles of four compositions, among them the "Wandering Jew". At the edges appears the inscription: "Sa Plume Foudroie l'Hydre Qui Brava Rome et Les Rois" [his pen struck the Hydra, defying Rome and the Kings]. Diameter: 53 mm.

Only 100 units were made by Koningklijke Begreer in Utrecht. Decorated with wings and the letters JI (Joodse Invaliden – handicapped Jews). Images depicting the sun, Star of David and an elderly Jew, resting. "Art Deco" style. Diameter: 60 mm, base: 70 mm.
