Narrow, long amulet, folded in the shape of a triangle. Placed in a special metal case with fabric-padded sides hung by a string around one's neck.
91 cm. The amulet is in good condition. With remnants of metal case and inner padding with original string for hanging.
The triangle shape is significant as a segula and therefore the amulet is folded into this shape.

Ink on paper, with decorated frame. Verses against ayin hara in scribal letters with tagim. Letter combinations and a blessing: "G-d should guard him from all distress and trouble and fulfill all the wishes of our hearts for the good. Amen, so be His will".
Approximately 12x17 cm. Framed. Overall good condition, not examined out of the frame.

The Megilla blessings, illustrated parchment leaf. [Italy?, 18th century?].
Colored ink on parchment. Frame illustrated in the shape of an architectural gate under a balcony ornamented with vases, flowers, and two roosters with crests. In the center of the gate, the blessings said before and after reading the megillah are written [with instructions: "The reader shall bless with proper intent before the megillah reading", and "After the reading he shall make the blessing…"]. Written under the blessings is the chorus: "Cursed is Haman and blessed is Mordechai…". Apparently, the illustrated frame is from an earlier period than the time the blessings were written in the center of the leaf.

Bruchim Atem LaHashem – Certificate signed by Rabbi Chaim Shmuel HaCohen “emissary of holy city of Tiberias” to members of congregation of Sabbioneta (Italy), upon establishment of “holy charity fund, for exalted purpose, the holy Tana Rabbi Meir Ba’al HaNes, to pass around in synagogue on each day on which the Torah is read”. Sabbioneta, (1844).
Rabbi Chaim Shmuel HaCohen Konverti – Senior Rabbi (1810-1873), native of Italy; in 1927 immigrated to holy city of Tiberias and was among its greatest scholars. Following the destruction of the Galilee in the 1837 earthquake, he was sent as a rabbinical emissary to cities in Turkey and Italy in order to raise money for “Rabbi Meir Ba’al HaNes” fund in Tiberias. On these journeys his reputation as a Torah scholar became known to scholars of the Diaspora who cite sayings from him in many of their books. Upon the return of Rabbi Chaim Shmuel HaCohen Konverti to Tiberias in 1845, he was appointed as rabbi of the city in place of the Ga’on Rabbi Chaim Nissim Abulafia who relocated to Jerusalem. He occupied this honorable position for over thirty years in which he made great efforts for the preservation of Halachah and strengthening of the economic state of the city residents.
