The Kabbalist rabbi and researcher, the Ga’on Rabbi Yosef Schwartz, born in Germany in 1805, immigrated to Jerusalem in 1833 and passed away in 1865. Until today his books serve as fundamental basis for many discussions regarding matters pertaining to Eretz Yisrael both in the Torah-Halachic realm and in the scientific-historical research realm.
It seems that all three volumes are from one source. Volume one: glosses and handwriting on additional leaves bound at end. Third volume contains inscription from 1866 to Rabbi Bernis from Paris, son of Rabbi Yitzchak Breines of Hamburg, signed by “…Yosef son of Rabbi Avraham Asher”. Additional notation of personal inscription: “Gift from friend Rabbi and Av Beit Din of Carlsburg”.

Composition Shivrei Luchot, by Rabbi Menachem Azarya (the Rama) of Pano. With: the ruling "Yemin Hashem Romema" by the Rama of Pano, and homiletic by Rabbi Shlomo Alkabetz. Safed, 1864. First edition.
Composition Shivrei Luchot is the tenth composition of the Rama's work “Asara Ma'amarot” [in the book “Asara Ma'amarot” (Venice 1597) only three compositions were printed. Other compositions were printed separately at various times]. This composition was first printed from "a very old manuscript" owned by Rabbi Shmuel Heller Rabbi of Safed who published the book.
Before the ruling "Yemin Hashem Romema" there is an introduction by Rabbi Shmuel Heller. On the last page: "From the manuscript of Rabbi Chaim Vital… and this is what it says: I found a manuscript by my Teacher [Rabbi Yitchak Luria]…".

The first leaves are missing (the morning blessings and some of the p'sukei d'zimra were substituted with ten leaves from the Zhitomir chumash with Shabbat prayers). Volume 2 has a title page but the end is missing: ([1], 1-10), 53-200 leaves; 96, 111-116, 103-[114] leaves, the rest is missing. (In the form brought in the Bibliography Institute CD, another leaf exists at the end (115) and there too the rest is missing).
