Especially fine writing, with preface and colophon signed by author Rabbi “Yichye son of Rabbi Chaim son of Rabbi Yosef son of Rabbi Shalom son of Yosef Yehuda Shalom Korach” dated “Monday, 17 of Iyar, 1901”. [The colophon of the copied manuscript which appears in Encyclopedia of Scholars of Yemen, I, p. 560, lists a different date: First of Cheshvan, 1901; apparently this edition is an additional one arranged by the author approximately half a year after the writing of the composition for the first time].
Rabbi Yichye Korach (1843-1908), among the great scholars of Tzena and rabbi of the Yosef O’atz Synagogue and the Chobavra B’Tzena Synagogue. Was greatly involved in the copying of holy books for his livelihood [it is possible that this manuscript is an autograph of the author himself]. Passed away in Egypt on his way to Eretz Israel.
84 leaves, 18.5, paper with embossed stamps in calligraphic Arabic (manufacturer stamp), good-fair condition, moth damage, ink acidity damage with omission to text on several leaves. Ownership stamps from city of Aden. New elegant binding.

A manuscript of the conduct, stories and sayings of Rabbi Refael of Bershad. (1845). Various ancient stamps and owners' inscriptions.
This composition was written by his disciple Rabbi Shmuel Valchis and most of the things had already been printed [with many differences] in the books of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz – "Midrash Pinchas" and "Imrei Pinchas HaShalem". Early manuscripts of various copies of letters and Chassidic articles written by Chassidic leaders. [Russia-Poland?, c. 1800].
Copies of letters from Eretz Yisrael written by Rabbi Mendel of Vitebsk and Rabbi Avraham HaCohen of Kalisk. Copies of articles and letters by the elder Rebbe of Liadi, mentioned in this manuscript with the blessing "the renowned Rebbe Shneur Zalman neiro ya'ir shlita", "Copy from Likutei Ma'amarim said in the name of Rebbe Shneur Zalman neiro ya'ir". This (neiro ya'ir and shlita are only used after the name of a living person) is proof that the manuscript was written in his lifetime before his death in 1812. On the last page is an addition written at a later time with a tale in the name of Rebbe Shneur Zalman. [Possibly, this was also written before the first printing of the Tanya in 1796]. The writer copies an article [unknown?] "from the letter of holy words by Rabbi Chaikel" [Rabbi Chaikel of Amdur, died 1787]. Conduct of "the Rav Hamagid renowned Man of G-d Rebbe Elimelech" [of Lizhensk, died 1787]. The first examination of "Otzar HaChochma", shows that some of the letters and articles were partially or fully printed in various places and some are articles that have not yet been printed.
46 leaves (Leaves 289-335 from a large manuscript whose beginning has been lost), 23 cm. Fair condition, moth holes and damage, wear and detached leaves. Unbound.
