Zohar Vayikra-Bamidbar-Devarim. Constantinople, [1736], year of royalty. The title page of the 1844 Jerusalem edition was bound with the beginning of Vayikra.
Hundreds of glosses and corrections by several authors. Most remarks appear in the Oriental handwriting of the person who signed two of them with the name"Mordechai¦". He mentions his Rabby in another gloss. The remarks mostly bring notes from the book"Mikdash Melech", but dozens of them are Kabbalistic novellae written by the author. There are additional glosses and rectifications in other Oriental handwritings [some written by the Me'at Dvash - Rabbi David son of Shimon, whose signature appears on the first title page].

Dozens of glosses and rectifications in Ashkenazi handwriting with an additional leaf in the same Ashkenazi handwriting at the end of the book, which is typical to the holy righteous Gaon Rabbi Yosef Zundel of Salant (1787-1866), Rabbi Chaim of Vologin's great disciple and rabbi of Rabbi Israel of Salant. Moved to Jerusalem in 1838 where he became one of the leaders of the population with his rabbis and his son in law Rabbi Shmuel Salant. Some of his writings were published in the book"The Tzaddik Rabbi Yosef Zundel of Salant and his Rabbis", Jerusalem 1927].

Light, high quality paper, wide margins. Good-fair condition, moth damage, wear damage and stains on some of the leaves' edges. Most of the glosses are complete and a few are slightly cut. Unbound.
